Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civil Hospital Badin Raises Awareness on World Malaria Day 2024

Badin, [24th April] — Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civi Hospital Badin took a step in the fight against malaria by hosting an important awareness session and walk on World Malaria Day 2024. The session aimed to help people learn how to prevent and manage malaria, bringing together senior doctors, nurses, and community members. 

Led by Dr. Shahnawaz Karim Mazari, the session provided practical advice on preventing malaria and caring for someone who has it. Following Dr. Shahnawaz’s talk, a walk was organized to spread awareness about malaria, symbolizing unity in the fight against the disease. This year’s global theme of “Accelerating the Fight Against Malaria for a More Equitable World” resonated throughout the session, underscoring the urgent need for collaborative action to address this public health challenge.

Participants, armed with newfound knowledge and determination, took to the streets for the awareness walk. The walk served as a powerful symbol of solidarity and commitment to combat malaria within the community.
