Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital (RTEH), in Muzaffargarh recently concluded a two-week Basic Life Support (BLS) session titled “Saving Lives” under the management of the Emergency Response Committee and with the support of Clinical Services Management. The session aimed to equip healthcare professionals with essential skills for handling emergencies effectively.
The BLS sessions were led by master trainers and facilitators including Dr. Ali Ammar, Dr. Asif Yasin, Dr. Muhammad Zaman, Dr. Aneel Razzak, Dr. Farrukh, Dr. Masood, and Dr. Ahmad Ali. Their expertise and guidance ensured the success of the program.
Dr. Irfan Javed, Head of Campus, was acknowledged for his consistent support, active participation, and motivational remarks throughout the sessions. On the conclusion day, Dr. Javed expressed confidence that the acquired skills from the session will bring about positive changes and advancements in the hospital’s emergency department. He also emphasized the importance of interpersonal communication in team building and discussed the significance of flexibility in handling diverse emergency situations.
He went on to express that the Basic Life Support (BLS) training will extend to nearby health facilities, empowering them to effectively respond to emergencies. This initiative reflects the hospital’s commitment to community welfare and strengthening emergency preparedness beyond its own premises.
Dr. Sheraz Hassan, Faculty Chair, while addressing the audience, emphasized the dynamics of teamwork and stressed the importance of maintaining a strong connection with the faculty.
The successful completion of the BLS session signifies RTEH’s dedication to continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and emergency management.
