Indus Hospital & Health Network Celebrates Graduation of 134 Doctors at PGME Convocation
Indus Hospital & Health Network awarded postgraduate qualifications to 134 doctors at its Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Convocation on Saturday, marking the completion of their training across 22 medical specialties.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Senior Vice President of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), attended the ceremony as chief guest.
The graduating classes of 2024 and 2025 comprised 130 doctors who completed the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) and four who completed the Membership of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (MCPS) . The graduates underwent years of supervised clinical training at IHHN, where all patients receive healthcare services free of cost.
The convocation was held as part of ICON 2026, taking place from October 8 to 17 across Karachi, Lahore and Muzaffargarh. Launched by IHHN in 2012, ICON brings together healthcare professionals to discuss emerging challenges and developments in healthcare.
This year’s conference focuses on building resilient, sustainable and patient-centred healthcare systems in response to climate change. Training healthcare professionals to meet future challenges remains a key priority, with the Indus University of Health Sciences playing an important role in medical education and professional development.

The ceremony recognised the best graduates in five categories: Dr. Sadia Bilal in Surgery & Allied, Dr. Irsa Nadeem in Medicine & Allied, Dr. Ameet Kumar in Diagnostic, Dr. Zainab Kamran in Pediatric Services, and Dr. Neelum Tahirkheli in Fellowship.
