EMR Open House 2026 – Inspiring the Future of Digital Health Information Management

The Electronic Medical Records Department successfully organized an Open House event on 3^rd June 2026 aimed at engaging graduates, healthcare professionals, and medical records experts to showcase the significance of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and their role in modern healthcare.

The event highlighted key EMR functions, including Medical Coding, Cancer Registry, Data Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), and EMR Training Programs. Participants gained valuable insights into career opportunities in medical coding and health information management, particularly for graduates of physiology, and medical sciences.

The event featured inspiring addresses by Dr. Zafar Zaidi, CEO IHHN, and Ms. Kafeel Naz Sajid, Senior Manager EMR. Interactive stalls and engaging activities provided participants with a hands-on learning experience.

The Open House was attended by representatives from leading healthcare institutions, including Patel Hospital, KIMS, Ziauddin University Hospital, SIUT, Al-Mustafa, and Dow, along with IT professionals and internal IHHN departments. Beyond knowledge sharing, the event served as an excellent platform for networking, collaboration, and promoting the future of digital healthcare information management.
