IHHN and PPHI Balochistan Sign MoU to Strengthen Primary Healthcare Delivery Across Underserved Communities in Balochistan

In a landmark step toward strengthening healthcare delivery in the province, the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) and the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance public health services across Balochistan at the Community Health Directorate’s PMU Office in Islamabad. Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President IHHN, and Dr. MB Raja Dharejo, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PPHI Balochistan, signed the MoU under the leadership of the Honourable Secretary of Health Balochistan, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman.

The strategic partnership will work towards healthcare delivery in Balochistan, with a particular focus on scaling up essential health interventions in hard-to-reach and underserved communities. The collaboration aims to strengthen service integration, enhance access to quality care, and improve health outcomes across the province. As a sign of appreciation for their enduring partnership, Dr. MB Raja Dharejo, CEO of PPHI Balochistan, was presented with a shield by IHHN.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior leadership, including Dr. Mah Talat, Executive Director, Community Health Directorate (CHD), IHHN; Dr. Ababgar Baloch, Provincial Coordinator, Health Department, Government of Balochistan; Haroon Rasheed Kasi, Program Coordinator, PPHI; Nabeela Ali, Director Program, CHD, IHHN, Fazal-ur-Rehman Malik, Deputy GM, CHD, IHHN, Dr. Noor Khajjak, Provincial Manager, CHD, IHHN, and Areej Javed, Communications Specialist, CHD, IHHN.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding equitable access to quality primary healthcare services and strengthening public health systems in Balochistan.
