A day-long free medical camp focused on mental health was organized at GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital, managed by Indus Hospital & Health Network, by Dr. Naeem-ur-Rehman Khan, a Pakistani-born psychiatrist from Balochistan, currently based in the United Kingdom.

The initiative was carried out under the special directives and keen interest of Mr. Moeen-ur-Rehman Khan, Director General GDA, and was highly appreciated by the public.

The camp aimed to provide timely mental health services, offering expert consultations and treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, substance abuse, and other psychiatric disorders. A large number of men, women, and children from across the district participated. Over 50 patients received consultations, medicines, and other necessary support during the camp.

On the occasion, Dr. Affan Faiq Zada, Head of Campus, emphasized that mental health cannot be overlooked in society and assured that more such initiatives would be organized to raise awareness and improve access to mental health care.

The public praised the initiative, highlighting its significance in strengthening the regional health system and expressed hope that similar medical camps will continue to be conducted in the future.
