Empowering Students to Serve: KSBL and IHHN Formalize Strategic Collaboration

On March 3, 2026, the Karachi School of Business & Leadership (KSBL) and Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) formalized a meaningful partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Indus University Hospital, Karachi. Rooted in a shared belief that education must extend beyond classrooms and into communities, the collaboration reflects a collective commitment to nurturing a generation that leads with empathy, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility toward others.

Through this MoU, students across KSBL’s undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs will have the opportunity to volunteer with IHHN across its healthcare facilities and outreach initiatives, including programs such as iHope and Meer-e-Karwan Hum Hain. These engagements are designed not simply as service hours but as transformative experiences that allow students to witness resilience firsthand, understand the realities of healthcare access, and appreciate the profound impact of compassion in action.

The partnership also envisions joint awareness sessions, workshops, and community initiatives focused on social responsibility, mental health, and character development. By creating spaces for dialogue and reflection, both institutions aim to cultivate leaders who are as thoughtful as they are capable. Opportunities for capstone projects in areas such as digital transformation, strategy, growth, fintech, treasury, and data science will further enable students to apply their academic learning in ways that contribute meaningfully to society.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmad Junaid, Aijaz Haq, and Sikander Bizenjo from KSBL, along with Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Syed Arif Rahman, Madiha Rahman, and Kainat Anwer from the IHHN, marking an important step in strengthening the institution’s engagement with purpose-driven organizations.
