Global Handwashing Day Celebrated at RTEH Muzaffargarh

RTEH Muzaffargarh observed Global Handwashing Day with great enthusiasm to emphasize the importance of proper hand hygiene in preventing infections and promoting overall health.

The event was graced by Head of Campus Dr. Irfan Javed, Medical Director Dr. Sheraz Hassan, Head of Infection Control Department Dr. Rashid Kamal, Head of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Waqas Ahmad, Head of Operations Mr. Aslam Khan, Manger Nursing Yasmeen Siraj, along with representatives from the support staff and other departments.

The Infection Control Department team led an engaging awareness drive, educating the public on the correct handwashing techniques and its vital role in infection prevention. The team also visited various clinics across the OPD area, providing live demonstrations and orientations to doctors and staff members on maintaining proper hand hygiene in clinical settings.

The activity reflected RTEH’s continued commitment to promoting patient safety, infection prevention, and community well-being through awareness and education.
