PNS Shifa Team Visits Indus Hospital to Review IPC Practices

A delegation from PNS Shifa Hospital, led by Surgeon Commodore Rukhsana and Surgeon Captain Ayesha Ehsan, along with their team, visited Indus Hospital & Health Network, Korangi Campus, Karachi, to observe and review the operational Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices implemented across the facility.

The visiting team toured various departments of the hospital and engaged in detailed discussions on IPC protocols. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Farhan Zafar, Deputy Manager, Infection Control Academics, along with Ms. Shabnam Bilal, Manager, Infection Control, and Dr. Samreen Sarfaraz, Infection Control Chair. Together, they provided an in-depth clinical briefing on Indus Hospital’s infection control measures, patient safety strategies, and adherence to quality standards and Infection control academic strategies.

The visit created an opportunity for knowledge exchange and institutional learning, further strengthening collaborations aimed at enhancing infection prevention practices within healthcare systems.
