Breathing Easy Again: Adam Jatoi’s Journey with Asthma Care
One of the Community Engagement Centers’ oldest referred patients, Adam Jatoi a few days ago had visited the Khorwah Container Clinic for his follow-up appointment. After an onsite session, he wanted to share his story. Many months ago, the CEC Teams health worker visited his community where Adam Jatoi explained that he had been feeling very weak and was having trouble breathing. The health worker urged him to come to visit the container clinic where he got checked and was diagnosed with asthma. The doctor explained to him that is why he was feeling very lethargic and weak as asthma was taking a toll on his health. Once he started to use the inhaler and would come for his treatment, he started to feel much better. Now, Adam walks without any problems or any support, before he would have to either ask his son to help him or use a stick but now, he is feeling much better since his diagnosis and has learned to adapt to the changes that had to be made.
Adam is very happy with the treatment process at the Khorwah Container Clinic and thanks the health worker for urging and insisting that he visit the facility.
