Art with a Heart 2025 – A Celebration of Creativity and Courage
Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) proudly hosted the fourth annual “Art with a Heart” exhibition, a heartfelt tribute to the resilience and creativity of pediatric cancer patients. This remarkable event, held on February 23, 2025, once again highlighted the transformative power of art in the healing journey of young warriors battling cancer.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated Women Ambassadors, Sara Chapra and Ayesha Hussain, whose unwavering commitment has made “Art with a Heart” a cherished tradition. Their passion and support continue to uplift the spirits of our young artists, offering them a platform to share their stories through art.
This year’s exhibition featured a stunning collection of 81 paintings, each a unique reflection of strength, hope, and perseverance. The artwork, created by nine childhood cancer patients – Hareem, Maryum, Emaan, Hafsa, Misbah, Aqsa, Aroosa, Minahil, and Sidra – beautifully captured their personal journeys. Each brushstroke conveyed a message of courage, showcasing the emotions and experiences they have encountered throughout their treatment.
A moment of immense pride and joy for the young artists, all 81 paintings were successfully sold, with proceeds dedicated to supporting pediatric cancer treatment at IHHN. The overwhelming response from attendees demonstrated the deep appreciation for the extraordinary talent and resilience of these young individuals.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Dr. Syed Zafar Zaidi, CEO of IHHN; Dr. Shamvil Ashraf, Executive Director of Medical Services Directorate; and the Executive Director CRD Syed Mashood Rizvi. In a heartfelt gesture, Dr. Syed Zafar Zaidi and Dr. Shamvil Ashraf personally distributed gifts among the young artists, recognizing their incredible talent and perseverance.
At IHHN, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide holistic care, addressing not only the physical health of our pediatric cancer patients but also their emotional and psychological well-being. Through initiatives like art therapy, we empower young patients to express themselves, heal, and inspire others with their remarkable strength.
As we celebrate four years of “Art with a Heart,” we are profoundly grateful for the unwavering support of our community. The continued success of this initiative serves as a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and creativity in transforming lives. We look forward to many more years of celebrating the courage and artistic brilliance of our young warriors.
Together, we stand in solidarity, ensuring that every child facing cancer finds hope, healing, and a future filled with possibilities.
