Breast Cancer Awareness at GDA Pak China: Early Detection Saves Lives

October is globally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness about the symptoms, risks, and the importance of early detection of breast cancer. The goal is to encourage women to take timely action for diagnosis and treatment.

At GDA Pak China Friendship Hospital, under the management of Indus Hospital & Health Network, multiple awareness sessions are being organized. These sessions focus on early symptoms, types of breast cancer, and the importance of early diagnosis. Participants will also learn self-examination techniques and be informed about treatment methods like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

On Friday, October 4, 2024, a Breast Cancer Awareness session led by Dr. Anila Abbasi, Consultant Gynaecologist, held at the hospital to educate participants on breast cancer and its prevention.
