Nokkundi Community Health Center Celebrates First Successful Deliveries Under New 24/7 Midwifery Services

Nokkundi, August 1, 2024: The Community Health & MCH Center in Nokkundi marked a significant milestone with the successful delivery of two healthy babies—a boy and a girl—under the meticulous supervision of Dr. Bakhtawar, LHV Farzana, and CMW Basra Gul. This notable event highlights the first deliveries since Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) initiated 24/7 services, including Midwifery, at the center on June 25, 2024.

The introduction of these services has been a beacon of hope for the marginalized and underserved community in Nokkundi, addressing a longstanding challenge in accessing comprehensive healthcare. The dedication and expertise of our team ensured smooth and complication-free deliveries, bringing palpable joy and relief to the families as they welcomed their new members, symbolizing a brighter future for the community.

Both babies and their mothers were discharged in good health after thorough postnatal checkups. This achievement underscores our commitment to providing quality healthcare and improving the lives of the communities we serve.
