Department of Pharmacy Services Conducts a Webinar on Management of Pediatric Diabetes Mellitus

The Department of Pharmacy Services at the Indus Hospital and Health Network firmly believes in the vision of Chief of Pharmacy Services, Dr. Aslam Shah, in continuing the journey of learning and ensuring that other healthcare professionals take benefit from one’s learning too by effective teamwork. Keeping with his vision, the Department of Pharmacy Services regularly conducts a digital, free-of-cost Pharmacy Webinar Series where a physician and a pharmacist mutually discuss and explain the intricate pharmacotherapeutic challenges of managing an important pathology. 

Under the guidance of Senior Manager and Head of Pharmacy Services Dr. Arif Ali Arain, the Department of Pharmacy Services conducted another episode of the series on 1st August 2024 under the leadership of Clinical Pharmacist Dr. Muhammad Hameed, who is the Team Lead for Webinar series. The session had Dr. Saba Shahid, Chair Pediatric Services-IHHN and Chair Board of Studies-IUHS and Dr. Faheem Ahmed, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist-Pediatrics as expert speakers. The session was moderated by Clinical Pharmacist Dr. Abira Aftab and saw huge participation by more than 150 people which ranged from physicians, nurses, pharmacists to undergraduate students.
