Workshop Advances Strategic Health Research
The Communications Publication Subcommittee, with ORIC, led a workshop aligning IHHN’s (2024-2027) research strategy to align with institutional vision by having all the departments conduct guided SWOT and TOWS analyses and driving OKRs and KPIs. Read the full article

Infrastructure Development & Resource Allocation
Biobank Development:
  • A central biobank was created with 11,918 samples collected to date. 
  • Biobank has supported 7 ongoing research projects. 
  • Conducted internal audits at all three biobank sites to ensure quality control and adherence to SOPs. 
  • A mechanism was established to invite IRB-approved proposals from clinicians for biobank utilization. 
Data Analytics and Analysis Unit:

Processes for the following have been initiated: 

  • Establishing a central data lake integrated with EMR for unified research data access.
  • Deploying GPU-enabled servers to support high-volume data processing.
  • Enabling automatic data coding to streamline data extraction for research.
  • Developing digital infrastructure for dashboards, diagnostics, and analytics tools to support investigators.
