HAEMCON 2026

IHHN’s Clinical Laboratories and Blood Transfusion Services secured multiple scientific awards at HAEMCON 2026, the annual conference of the Pakistan Society of Hematology, held in Peshawar. Ten representatives contributed across oral and poster categories, reflecting one of the conference’s strongest institutional research presences. Dr. Saba Jamal delivered a keynote address on transfusion safety, while Dr. Shabneez Hussain, Dr. Zeenat Amna Azhar, and Ms. Nida Jawaid received Best Presentation Awards in competitive scientific sessions, highlighting the growing national impact of IHHN’s hematology and transfusion research programs.
