One of the founders of Ghani Group of Companies — a leading business group in Pakistan, Anwaar Ahmad Khan is a well-known philanthropist — working on social issues.
With experience spanning over three decades in the corporate and industrial sector, Anwaar Ahmad is serving in multiple executive roles on the board of some very prominent companies in the country.
He is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Ghani Value Glass and Ghani Group services Pvt Ltd, having served on the board of the company since 2008. Additionally, he is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ghani Glass Limited and Director of Ghani Ceramics Limited. He is also a member of board of directors of Rak Ghani Glass LLC; Trustee, and Member Board of Directors of Ghani Foundation and Ghani Institute of Technical and Islamic Education more over he is also Member of GC University. He has been awarded Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Year 2021.
Currently, he is the Director, IHHN Board of Directors; Member of the IHHN’s Regional Board; Member of the Advisory Council of the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Trust, Muzaffargarh; Member Board of Directors and a Trustee of Message Foundation, and a Vice Chairman of Jamiat Taleem-ul-Quran Trust.
Through his philanthropic efforts, Anwaar Ahmad has helped the poor and vulnerable members of society. Under his leadership, the Ghani Institute of Technical and Islamic Education has helped to educate skilled labor with technical education. Similarly, the Lahore Institute of Medical Sciences is working towards providing high-end medical and health services and education to every member of the community.
