Indus Hospital Blood Center Becomes First in South Asia to Attain AABB Accreditation

The Indus Hospital Blood Center in Korangi, Karachi, has successfully become the only site in South Asia to attain American standards in blood banking. This accreditation marks a major milestone for blood safety in Pakistan, which has a background of hepatitis infection rate of 7 to 10% in the population, positioning the Indus Hospital & Health Network as a trailblazer in healthcare excellence.
