Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, Muzaffargarh, Commended By Government Of Punjab

Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi, Secretary, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab, paid a surprise visit to Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital (RTEH), Muzaffargarh, on March 20, 2023. Dr. Qazi praised the work done at RTEH, expressing hope that other teaching hospitals in the area could follow RTEH’s example in delivering excellence in healthcare to all.

During his visit, Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi inspected RTEH’s various facilities including its laboratory, blood bank, dialysis, biomedical, and laundry services. In addition, he toured the hospital’s Emergency Department, NICU, and Gynecology ward where he interacted with patients asking after their care provided by the staff at RETH.

Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi was pleased by the positive feedback received from the patients and said that he was glad to see that quality care is being provided free of cost. He went on to explain how the Punjab government is trying to provide quality and free treatment facilities and RTEH, Muzaffargarh – managed by Indus Hospital & Health Network – is doing an exemplary job at supporting the mission of the Punjab government.

Dr. Qazi went on to commend the hospital, especially its detailed measures that are taken to prevent the possible spread of infection and the intensive care of newborns. He also expressed hope that soon IHHN’s method of quality care will be adopted as a model in all other teaching hospitals in Punjab.

Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi, Secretary, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab, was accompanied by Ghulam Sagheer Shahid, Secretary, Specialized Healthcare, South Punjab, and the Principal of Teaching Hospital D. G. Khan and MS Teaching Hospital D.G. Khan.
