TURNING DREAMS INTO REALITY: ALI RAZA

Ali Raza was born and raised in Muzaffargarh with seven siblings. Coming from a modest background, his family struggled to make ends meet. His goal was to work hard and secure a respectable job that could help lift his family from poverty. However, it wasn’t an easy task.

After receiving his last rejection letter, Raza realized that his shame of being in poverty was hindering his progression. Upon completing his intermediate education, he applied at several places, but the only positions he seemed to be getting were jobs requiring unskilled labor. He acknowledged the reality of the situation and was determined to work hard, boost his self-image, and earn the respect he demanded.

In 2014, Raza joined the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital (RTEH), Muzaffargarh, as a porter. While employed at the IHHN-managed facility, he enrolled himself for further education.

His hard work and efforts did not go unnoticed, and the management of RTEH acknowledged his dedication to furthering his dream and serving the healthcare community. They helped him understand that no position was too small or big for helping people, and it motivated Raza to give his all to his work and education.

While working as a porter, he completed a diploma in IT and graduated from a public university in Multan. He presented his degree to his superiors, who promoted him to a System Support Technician in the IT Department.

Raza has been with IHHN ever since. He continuously strives to improve himself and has helped raise his family out of poverty and given them the lifestyle they rightfully deserve.

“I am very proud of the work I have done, and I appreciate the recognition and support provided by IHHN and the management of RTEH. However, this achievement is not my destination. I feel there is more I can do to improve myself to better serve my family, my organization, and the community. The environment created by management has allowed me to achieve my dreams, and there is still so much more for me to do!”

Thanks!
