IHHN – Helping Save Lives

As a holistic healthcare provider working to relieve the pain and suffering of all, Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) has stepped up to play its role by setting up Emergency Medical Relief Camps in flood-impacted areas all over the country.
IHHN’s emergency response follows a decentralized, multi-sectoral model, encompassing mobile medical camps in buses, community engagement, and distribution of non-medical essential items.
To create a far-reaching impact, IHHN has also collaborated with partners from both the private sector and provincial governments, including WHO, UNICEF, Karachi Relief Trust, and Orange Tree Foundation.

Serving Across Pakistan

IHHN’s goal is to cater to the healthcare needs of all affected persons throughout Pakistan. Fully functional mobile medical units, armed with medicines, medical supplies, and experienced healthcare professionals, have reached out to people in the regions hit hardest.

Balochistan

IHHN is providing emergency medical aid to the flood-affected community in Lasbela, Khuzdar, Naseerabad, Harnai, Jaffarabad, Killa Saifullah, Jhal Magsi, Bolan, Sibi, Kohlu, Dera Bughti, Washuk, Musa Khel, Sohbatpur and many other districts.So far, 323 Medical Relief Units have been held:

Along with essential medicines, primary healthcare, and an array of medical services, the units provide continuous counseling to the displaced population who are suffering from a barrage of illnesses, including mental health issues, malaria, diarrhea, skin infections, urinary tract Infections, acute respiratory infections, and gastroenteritis.
Community Engagement Counseling (CEC) sessions have also been conducted on the prevention of diseases and rational drug use.

IHHN has also held 208 Malaria-specific Relief Units in to provide onsite screening, diagnosis and treatment for Malaria.Moving forward, IHHN plans on setting up additional disease-specific relief units in flood-impacted areas of the province.

IHHN collaborated with Karachi Relief Trust to set up a 3-day medical relief camp in Uthal,

Sindh

IHHN is providing emergency medical aid to the flood-affected community in Dadu, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, Sanghar, Larkana, Matiari, Tharparkar, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, NousheroFeroz, Mirpurkhas, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, and many other districts.So far, 1204 Medical Relief Units have been held:

Along with essential medicines, laboratory tests and an array of medical services, the units provide continuous mental health counseling to the displaced population who are suffering from a barrage of illnesses, including mental health issues, diarrhea, skin infections, urinary tract Infections, acute respiratory infections, and gastroenteritis.
Community Engagement Counseling (CEC) sessions have also been conducted on the prevention of diseases and rational drug use.

IHHN has also held 568 Malaria-specific Relief Units to provide onsite screening, diagnosis, and treatment for Malaria.Moving forward, IHHN plans on setting up additional disease-specific relief units in flood-impacted areas of the province.

WHO collaborated with IHHN to open the first ever flood-relief medical camp and diagnostic laboratory in Thatta.

IHHN and WHO partnered to run Emergency Relief Medical Camps in Sukkur and Larkana

Punjab

IHHN has held 32 Medical Relief Units in Rajanpur to provide emergency care to the flood-affected communities.

Along with essential medicines, primary healthcare, and an array of medical services, the units provide continuous counseling to the displaced population who are suffering from a barrage of illnesses, including mental health issues, diarrhea, skin infections, urinary tract Infections, acute respiratory infections, and gastroenteritis.
Non-medical items, including food, clothing, hygiene kits, and mosquito repellents, have been distributed to vulnerable men, women, and children.
Community Engagement Counseling (CEC) sessions have also been conducted on the prevention of diseases and rational drug use.

Moving forward, IHHN plans on setting up additional disease-specific relief units in flood-impacted areas of the province.

WHO collaborated with IHHN to conduct an emergency relief medical camp in Rajanpur.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

IHHN has held 38 Medical Relief Units in Nowshera, Tank, and Dera Ismail Khan to provide emergency aid to the flood-affected communities.

Along with essential medicines, primary healthcare, and an array of medical services, the units provide continuous counseling to the displaced population who are suffering from a barrage of illnesses, including mental health issues, diarrhea, skin infections, urinary tract Infections, acute respiratory infections, and gastroenteritis.

IHHN has also held 5 Malaria-specific Relief Units in Buner and Bannu to provide onsite screening, diagnosis, and treatment for Malaria.

Moving forward, IHHN plans on setting up additional disease-specific relief units in flood-impacted areas of the province.
