Hit High To Save Precious Lives Through Ihhn’s Emergency Services – Indus Hospital & Health Network’s Corporate Cricket Championship 2023, Lahore

After a successful tournament in Lahore last year, Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) once again organized its Corporate Cricket Championship in the heart of Pakistan. This year’s cause for the ‘IHHN’s Corporate Cricket Championship 2023’ was Emergency Services.

Pakistan has an increasing need for a strong emergency care system as emergency conditions –  acute cardiovascular disease, road injuries, and stroke – form the top 10 leading causes of death.

At IHHN’s Jubilee Town Campus, Lahore, there is a dedicated 27-bed emergency department which is providing free and timely life-saving treatment to patients from Lahore and the greater Punjab.

Across the Network, in its 4 owned campuses in Karachi, Lahore, and Bhong, Indus benefits more than 330,000 patients each year through emergency services.

The annual Cricket Championship provides an ideal opportunity for corporate entities and institutions to come forward and support this noble mission while engaging in an exciting sporting event. Several leading corporates went head-to-head on the cricket pitch, not just to win the championship trophy but also to show their commitment to helping us provide free and timely life-saving treatment to patients in the Emergency Room.

The tape-ball tournament was played on a knock-out basis and consisted of 6-overs in each innings. In addition to providing sponsorship for the two-day event, Hush Puppies, Fast Cables, PakWheels, AdamJee Life Insurance, Jubilee Insurance, Bayer Pakistan, Media 11 and Work Force also participated in the tournament held at the Ghani Institute of Cricket, Lahore.

The event was well attended by the leadership of IHHN, sponsors, and media. GEO Super and Jang Media Group were the Exclusive Media Partners of the tournament and the cricket ground was sponsored by the Ghani Foundation.

This thrilling championship held in Lahore helped bring together the corporate community to join hands to support IHHN and its initiatives to provide free-of-cost quality healthcare to the people of Pakistan.
