Strengthening Cardiac Care: Nargis & Shahid Soorty Institute of Cardiac Services Opens in New Building, Special Dua Held

Karachi: As part of the ongoing expansion and development of healthcare facilities at the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), the Nargis & Shahid Soorty Institute of Cardiac Services is now operating from the 4th floor of the new hospital building, marking another important step in the development and strengthening of specialized cardiac care services.

As part of this transition, the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), along with the Cath Lab holding and observation beds, has now been shifted to the new facility. Patients receiving care in these areas have also been moved to the new building, ensuring continuity of specialized cardiac services during the transition.

A special dua was held on the occasion, with hospital leadership, clinical teams and staff praying for the continued success of the new facility, the wellbeing and complete recovery of patients, and the dedicated healthcare teams providing care. Special prayers were also offered for the Nargis & Shahid Soorty Family, with gratitude for their support and contribution towards the development of cardiac care services. The prayer also sought Allah’s blessings for the new space and its continued service to patients in need.

The new facility provides an enhanced environment for patients requiring specialized cardiac care while supporting clinical teams in delivering efficient and patient-centered services. The development reflects IHHN’s continued efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and create better facilities for patients and healthcare professionals.

The transition to the new building is part of IHHN’s broader efforts to expand its capacity and enhance the delivery of compassionate, accessible and quality healthcare.
