At Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN), free of cost meals are provided to all patients during their stay at the hospital.
The nutritional status of Pakistan is extremely poor, and food expenditures is not a priority for poorer households, which is the leading demographic of patients at the IHHN. This poor food intake and poor nutrition have several indirect costs, including, poor health, weak immune systems and generally, poor wellbeing. It is essential to prioritise nutrition, and this step is being taken at the IHHN.
