Description
ORCHIDOPEXY
Testis develop in abdomen in fetal life and then they descend into scrotum around the time of birth. If they fail to descend and reside in scrotum, then this is known as undescended testis.
Undescended testis is one the most common congenital anomalies found at birth. This condition requires surgical intervention with orchidopexy to fix the testes within scrotum.
