IHHN and Roots Millennium Education Unite for Healthcare Transformation

In a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed today, the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) and Roots Millennium Education join forces to catalyze change in Pakistan’s healthcare landscape. The partnership aims to engage the youth through IHHN’s impactful programs – “Indus Tarbiyat” and “Indus Yaqeen.”

Indus Tarbiyat: Cultivating Compassion in Young Hearts

The Indus Tarbiyat program, a corporate social responsibility initiative for children aged 12 and below, seeks to instill compassion and a culture of giving back. Children are taught the ripple effect of kindness and are provided with “Box of Kindness,” money-saving boxes distributed through partnerships with schools and child-centric brands. The aim is for children to develop the habit of saving and sharing their blessings with the less fortunate.

Indus Yaqeen: Empowering Youth as Compassionate Leaders

The Indus Yaqeen program empowers youth to actively raise awareness, support, and funds for patients in need across Pakistan. This initiative aims to mold compassionate future leaders who champion humanitarian causes. Through the i-Hope program, a Summer and Winter volunteer initiative, young individuals engage with patients and caregivers at IHHN. Volunteers gain insight into the impactful work of IHHN and receive expert lectures on topics such as digital media, technology, and health.

Roots Millennium Education Partnership: Nurturing Future Leaders

Under the Indus Tarbiyat program, Roots will distribute 14,000 Boxes of Kindness among students aged 12 and below. Additionally, older students will be encouraged to participate in fundraising and voluntary service at IHHN facilities and attend various sessions on health-related topics.
