“I am so grateful for to Indus and the organizers for this event; it really helps in building confidence in the children. My Minahil has been undergoing treatment for her legs for the past two years. Before she used to become so lonely and sad because she could not run and walk as well as the other children. But events like this include her and all the other kids. They have so much fun and forget about their healthcare issues.”
The event was attended by patients currently undergoing treatment and their caregivers, hospital staff, senior leadership at IHHN, and representatives from national foods. Speaking on the occasion was Daniyal Tariq, Assistant Brand Manager, Ketchup – National Foods,
“Today we are celebrating World Children’s Day with Indus Hospital. I believe that is very necessary that brands contribute back to society, especially brands that are strongly affiliated with children. We received a very good opportunity at Indus Hospital to celebrate the children and provide these young ones, who are already going through a very difficult time with their health issues, with an opportunity to just have fun.”
IHHN is grateful to partner with like-minded humanitarians like Faryal Kamran and National Foods who stepped up to support IHHN’s precious pediatric patients This event exemplifies the effective implementation of a multi-sectoral approach, one of IHHN’s six strategic goals aimed at enhancing the nation’s health. IHHN firmly believes that to successfully achieve this goal, this public and private sector institutions must join hands, combining resources towards initiatives that contribute to the overall well-being of Pakistani society.
