The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus has conducted a one-year infection control diploma. The course has culminated with a graduation ceremony. The one-year hospital infection control course is designed for in-class and online students, it’s one-of-a-kind course introduced in Pakistan’s healthcare industry. The course was initiated by the Indus Hospital’s Infection Control Department, Karachi. The second graduation ceremony was arranged in two cities, Karachi and Lahore. July 1, 2019 Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK)’s Ashraf & Munira Memorial Hospital, Potha village, Abbaspur has been linked with the Indus Health Network (IHN). On July 1, 2019 a ceremony was held to celebrate the handing over of the hospital to IHN. Sardar Masood Khan, President AJK was the chief guest. The Indus Hospital was honoured to attend and participate in the SAARC-Tripartite Rabies Elimination meeting on ‘Enhancing Progress towards Rabies Elimination Goal of Zero by 2030 in the SAARC Region’. The World Health Organization and SAARC Secretariat organized the meeting from June, 26 – 28 2019 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
